Mary is a Master of Horticulture of the Royal Horticultural Society and is a garden consultant specialising in planting design.
Friday’s lunchtime talk went down a treat. We were honoured to be joined by Mary Payne MBE who delivered an excellent presentation on gardening and how to achieve maximum impact with minimum effort.
The audience were furiously scribbling down notes as she gave endless tips and suggestions from the planning stage, through to maintenance and what to plant (and what not to!)
All delivered with a no-nonsense approach and her acerbic wit. It was a real joy and everyone left with a whole host of new ideas and suggestions on how to deal with common garden pests, weeds and other niggling problems.
Her slides where well planned and informative, with some very clever and comedic animations. Those who we spoke to after were effusive in their praise for her. Thank you Mary.to plant!
