WEDMORE ENSEMBLE

Thank you to each and every one of you who joined us for our grand finale yesterday, rounding off an incredible week of talent.

It was only fitting after their amazing performance last year, that we finished off by showcasing talent from right here in Wedmore.

Set against the backdrop of St Mary’s, resplendent with all the exhibited local artwork, the Wedmore Ensemble delighted us with an afternoon performance of breathtaking quality.

Catherine Lord on Violin, Elizabeth Anderson on Cello, Margaret Marinkovic on Piano and Soprano Hannah Kirk are all professional musicians living in the village, and we are grateful for them for sharing their talents and delivering a stunning performance which was enjoyed by everyone.

Afternoon tea was then served and as we have been blessed with glorious weather all week, some even enjoyed tea and cake on the lawn.

What a week it has been!
