HAZEL HUDSON HISTORY LECTURE

12 midday, Saturday 17 May

Wedmore Village Hall BS28 4EQ

Hazel Hudson was born in Wedmore and can trace her family in the parish back to the late 1400s. For over 35 years she has researched the history of the parish, a huge task which still continues.

Presenter Phil Butterworth will take us on an illustrated virtual guided “walk” of the centre of Wedmore, telling the history and stories behind the facades, starting with King Alfred the Great.

Come and find out more about our fascinating and unique village history in this entertaining and informative talk.
