Join us for lunch?

Our Lunches have always been a popular feature of the Wedmore Festival. They take place in Beggar’s Roost which is a short stroll from the Village Hall. We have five midday events available for 2024, each of them followed by the option of lunch. These take place on Saturday 11, Tuesday 14, Wednesday 15, Thursday 16 and Saturday 18 May.

It’s definitely worth booking early as numbers are limited at Beggar’s Roost where you can enjoy a choice of delicious home-cooked favourites, including a vegetarian option, in the comfortable surroundings of a charming village home or even, weather permitting, in the beautifully tended cottage garden. The tasty main course is followed by a mouth-watering dessert and the price of a lunch ticket also includes wine, making it unbeatable value. Plus of course you also get to meet the speaker and ask all those questions inspired by their earlier talk.
