Join us for lunch?

Our Lunches have always been a popular feature of the Wedmore Festival. They take place in Beggar’s Roost Cottage which is a short stroll from the Village Hall. You will have a tasty set menu in delightful surroundings with other guests.

Please note that you will be the paying guest of our Chair at this venue, which is not a professional restaurant venue. We can cater for GF/Dairy Free/vegan if you advise us in advance, but we cannot guarantee no cross contamination.

It’s definitely worth booking early as numbers are limited at Beggar’s Roost where you can enjoy a choice of delicious home-cooked favourites, including a vegetarian/gluten free option, in the comfortable surroundings of a charming village home or even, weather permitting, in the beautifully tended cottage garden. The tasty set main course is followed by a set mouth-watering dessert and the price of a lunch ticket also includes a glass of wine (further wine is available in return for a donation).

Plus of course you also get to meet the speaker and ask all those questions inspired by their earlier talk!
