We’re blessed as a village with a wonderful variety of welcoming hostelries — but did you know there were once 19 pubs in the parish?

Join Phil as he regales us with lively tales of alehouses and cider bars, long-lost inns and much-loved locals. Discover the stories behind the names and signs, the characters who filled the taprooms, and the changing face of village life through the centuries.
