Wells Cathedral School Soloists Showcase – 2 October at 7:30pm

The audience on October 2nd were spell-bound by the performance from young musicians from Wells Cathedral School Music at Wells.

What an honour to hear them perform their audition pieces for music conservatoires, and to join them as they continue their journey. We are sure they are all destined for stardom.

An eclectic and highly technically challenging programme had us all mesmerised.

Many thanks to Edward Leaker, the staff and the accompanists Simon Carrey and Dominic Hansom.

The young performers who had us in awe were:

  • Garbriel Colegate – Voice
  • Anton Pigott – Piano
  • Zoe Battiwalla – French Horn
  • Jonas Chau – Viola
  • Emily Bucknall-Stowell – Flute
  • Emma Steenkamp – Violin

Bravo to you all!
